Philip Lüschen

The work of designer and artist Philip Lüschen (1983) offers surreal alternatives to the everyday. Inhabitants of the village Loosbroek are under the spell of Hot Air Balloon Bernheze, which offers them a chance for a free hot air balloon ride. Visitors of waiting rooms kill time by fantasizing about insidious scenarios by using the Waiting Room Survival Guide.

Lüschen's work can be seen in the public environment and has been shown at various exhibitions, at notably Het Nieuwe Instituut Rotterdam, Vienna OPEN, and Museum of Modern Art Taipei. His studio is Amsterdam based and he is a guest tutor at the postgraduate course, 'Masters of Form' at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam.
